Robert L. Gibson Ph.D 1 , Joseph G. Marone M.A. 1 , Eileen W. Coutu M.A. 1 , and Ermoline King L.P.N. 1 1 Norwich (Conn.) Hospital Since it was begun in January 1970, more than 200 chronically hospitalized patients have participated in the Woodward House Re-entry Project, a comprehensive and highly structured rehabilitation program. One hundred and twenty of them are currently leading independent and productive lives in the community.
