Infinite-component fields. II. The electromagnetic structure of bosons

Infinite-component fields. II. The electromagnetic structure of bosons New closed forms of the inelastic form factors and structure functions W 1 ( ν , Q 2 ) , W 2 ( ν , Q 2 ) as a function of two variables have been obtained in an infinite-multiplet model. The relativistic H atom and a model of the pion are special cases. The nonrelativistic limit in the former case agrees with the result of Massey and Mohr. For the latter case a special situation which leads to scaling is discussed in detail. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Physical Review D American Physical Society (APS)

Abstract

New closed forms of the inelastic form factors and structure functions W 1 ( ν , Q 2 ) , W 2 ( ν , Q 2 ) as a function of two variables have been obtained in an infinite-multiplet model. The relativistic H atom and a model of the pion are special cases. The nonrelativistic limit in the former case agrees with the result of Massey and Mohr. For the latter case a special situation which leads to scaling is discussed in detail.
