Chiral anomalies in semileptonic decays of the D and K mesons

Chiral anomalies in semileptonic decays of the D and K mesons Semileptonic decays of the D and K mesons are studied, particularly with respect to chiral anomalies. The anomalies are described by the currents of an effective Lagrangian with a Wess-Zumino term. When the low-energy chiral approximation is improved by pole enhancements, an excellent fit is obtained to K -meson decay parameters and to D -meson branching ratios, lifetimes, and the electron decay spectrum. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Physical Review D American Physical Society (APS)

Abstract

Semileptonic decays of the D and K mesons are studied, particularly with respect to chiral anomalies.
