90,92 Zr(p↘,p′) reactions at 800 MeV
90'92Zr(p,p') REACTIONS AT 800 MeV* F. T. Baker a, C. Glashausser b, A. Scott a, G. Adams c, M. Grimm a, G. Hoffmannd, G. Igoc, W. G. Love a, J. Moss d, V. Penumetcha a, W. Swenson e, and B. E. Wood f Angular distributions of differential cross sections and analyzing powers have been measured for elastic and inelastic scattering of 800 MeV protons from 9~ and 92Zr. The data, acquired in 0.3 ~ steps for the angular range 2o-20 ~ , were obtained using the High Resolution Spectrometer at LAMPF. Excited states for which data have been obtained are the 2+ (2.18), 5-, 3-,4 + , 2+ (3.31) 6+ , and 8+ states for 9~ and the 2+ (~'93)' i ~ \ ~ ~ D.6 4+ , 2+ (1.83), 3- and k 5- states for 92Zr. D.4 The data for elastic 104 scattering were well \ D.2 fitted using an optical potential ~reviously 00 determined ~ for 800 MeVnO 3 A proton elastic scattering from 9~ the fits da for 92Zr are shown in \ Figure i. Data for in -I02 9ZZr elos/ic elastic scattering to collective 3- and 5\ states are virtually I0z identical for the
