Studies on Estimation of Catalase Activity by the Use of Titanium Sulfate

Abstract
An improved method for the determination of catalase activity is described; it is a modification of the method of Patti and Bonet-Maury (21). The new method depends on the colorimetric determination of the yellow complex formed by titanium sulfate and H 2 O 2 , and eliminates some of the complications of the titration methods previously used.
