A new species of the genus Fritillaria L., F. milasense M. Teksen & Aytaç sp. nov. is described from southwest Anatolia in Turkey. It is related to F. bithynica Baker, which mainly differs from it in its leaves, tepal colors, and capsule features. Also, F. serpenticola (Rix) M. Teksen & Aytaç stat. nov. is evaluated as a species instead of subspecies of F. carica. Pollen structure and karyotype of F. milasense and F. serpenticola are given.
