It is not a new situation for young people to struggle with the apparent contradiction between science and religion. However, that situation has become more acute in the 21 st -century. This paper seeks to examine the nature of that struggle and offer a framework for response that retains the integrity of both the scientific and faith communities and that of the young enquirers themselves.
