International Symposium on Tree Anatomy and Wood Formation - Tianjin, China The International Symposium on "Tree Anatomy and Wood Formation - the keys to forest biology and wood technology" will be held in Tianjin, China, from October 24 through 26, 1995. The meeting is co-organised by the Tianjin Botanica1 Society, the Tianjin International Conference Center for Science and Techno1ogy, the IAWA, and the Chinese Botanical Society. All IAWA Members are invited to attend this important meeting, which will discuss all major aspects of wood anatomy, tree biology and forest products research. Apart from plenary technical sessions, the symposium features site visits to local research institutes. Attractive post-symposium tours to various places will be arranged.
