Magdalena Lubelska and Anna Lebkowska, Kw, Universitas, 406 pp., is a collection by many distinguished academics produced to celebrate the seventieth birthday ofHenryk Markiewicz; most essays fall under two sections: i) 'Mi~dzy pozytywizmem a "now~ gnoz~"­ bilanse i pytania' or ii) 'Mi~dzy pozytywizmem a postmodernizmem - pytania i oczytania'.
