GeneralRussian language research in 2015 was further developed and encouraged by the Institute of Linguistic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in response to the government’s programme of encouraging research in this area for the years 2014–2016. Priority areas were identified as Russian lexicology and lexicography; developing, compiling and publishing dictionaries covering a wide variety of fields, including the modern Russian literary language, history of the language and dialects of the language; developing fundamental theories of linguistics; comparative and socio-linguistic research into the Russian language, Indo-European languages, Altai, Paleosiberian and Samoed languages; developing theories of grammar and language typology.2. PhilologyThere is a broad range of philological research, including linguistics, poetics and textology, in N.V. Pertsov, Лингвистика, поэтика, текстология. Избранные статьи, Moscow, Iazyki slavianskoi kul’tury (Studia Philologica), 694 pp. The collection is divided into three sections, with the last article, ‘О точности в филологии’, having a particular philological and methodological status. The fourth and last section, ‘Из воспоминаний’, contains three memoirs of the author’s university teachers. Six articles are written in co-authorship (with R.V. Dutanov, N.N. Pertsov, I.A. Pil’shchikov, and I.S. Sidorov).
