His research interests include: Chinese politics, censorship, ict and politics, political communication, environmental politics, corruption and rule of law, and Chinese nationalism. Javier Cha PhD, Harvard University, is Postdoctoral Fellow in Sino-Korean Cultural Interactions at the University of Hong Kong. He is a historian of medieval and early modern Korea with research and teaching interests in East Asia’s intellectual traditions, state building, historiography and periodization, and the digital turn in the humanities. His training in computational methods includes gis Institute Workshop at Harvard University’s Center for Geographic Analysis and neh iatdh workshop on networks and network analysis at ucla . Gabriele de Seta is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests are digital folklore and everyday media practices in contemporary China. Prasenjit Duara is the Raffles Professor of Humanities and Director, Asia Research Institute at National University of Singapore.
