AGREEMENTS TO WHICH ITALY IS A PARTY 373 in the fi eld of regional policy. The Madrid Convention and the Law No. 948 do not apply to these understandings, according to the Constitutional Court Decision No. 258 of 8-22 July 2004 (available at: <www.cortecostituzionale.it>). This sub-section is divided into two parts. Part A) contains a list of international agreements that the Italian Regions and Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano signed with foreign States in 2007. Part B) contains a list of understand- ings that the Italian Regions and Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano signed with territorial entities of foreign States in the same year. Both the understandings and the agreements are listed by the Region or Province party to them and, within the same Region or Province, multilateral understandings and agreements are placed before bilateral ones. Both the multilateral and bilateral understandings and agreements are in al- phabetical order of the territorial entity or the foreign State with which they were signed respectively. Since they are neither normally published in the offi cial bulletin of the Region nor available on the web site of the Region or the Autonomous Province, their subject matters are indicated. A brief
