The first four of the six tables in this Appendix are continuations, with some modifications, of tables on shipping included in Ocean Yearbook 1. Due to lim- itations of space, these tables focus on the last 5 years for which data are available. In addition to information on shipping, the Appendix also includes two tables describing the submarine cable network listed in ITU publications.
