Dans la même lettre il d e m a n d a i t q u ' o n organisait des observations du phénomène. Le résultat du calcul fait p a r Borelli est résumé dans une table qui se t r o u v e parmi les manuscrits Galileiens. Dans ce travail on a cherché de vérifier les calculs, de reconnaître le procédé employé, et d'identifier les sources desquelles Borelli s'est servi p o u r la prédiction du phénomène. SUMMARY In April 1662 Borelli gave notice that on the 21st and 22nd of that month Venus would be visible as both an evening star and a morning star, and he circulated a table showing the results of his calculations, urging colleagues to perform the appropriate observations.
