As with previous publications from this extraordinary group of Tibetan scholars, this is the result of painstaking research in monastic libraries and temples in Tibet that brought to light many works formerly believed lost or hitherto completely unknown. The publication consists of a printed book and an attached cd with copies of 50 printed texts that were produced in Tibet between 1407 and 1689. The books gives images of the initial pages and the colophon of each text as well as brief comments on what is known about each print edition and the full text is reproduced in facsimile on the cd .
