Many leading academic and public libraries h π ld copies o f its prí п ted catalogs, including that o f the Slavic and Baltic Division. Materials cataloged since 1972 are a � a � lable electronícally through the major national bibliographic utílítíes, the O��-li � e C o l l e g e L i b r a r y Catalog ( O C L C ) , and the Research Libraries I n f o r m a t i o n N e t w o r k (RLIN). These computerized records are also now available to individuals through the Internet, v � a the N Y P L ' s on-line public access catalog, CATNYP. In contrast t π the user fees and restrictions often placed on readers from outside a university community, the NYPL remains an Institution free and open to the public. The
