New and little - known Indian Asilidae (Diptera) II <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Pseudomerodontina n.gen. is described from South India. Its relationships with its nearest genus Merodontina Enderlein, are shown. The type species, Pseudomerodontina jayaraji n.sp., is described and illustrated.
