<jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Five new species of genus Stenopogon Loew, from India are described and figured. A key of all Indian species is given viz. S.damias Walker, S.nigrofasciatus Brunetti, S.ambryon (Walker), S.subtus Bromley, S.nathani n.sp., S.pulverifer (Walker), S.oldroydi n.sp., S.pradhani n.sp., S.kherai n.sp., S.raven Bromley, and S.manipurensis n.sp.</jats:p>
