List of Contributors Kirsten Ainleyis Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research is in the field of global ethics and is concerned with the relationships between politics, law and ethics in international relations. She focuses on the history and development of international criminal law, human rights and humanitarian intervention and has published on evaluating transitional justice, the International Criminal Court, the Responsibility to Protect and the notion of evil in international relations. She is principal investigator on the esrc Conflict, Justice and Development network and on the Hybrid Justice project.Brooke Coeis a visiting assistant professor at Wake Forest University. She has held predoctoral and postdoctoral research fellowships at Georgetown University (2014–2015) and the Free University of Berlin (2015–2016), and received her Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota in 2015. She will join Stetson University in August 2017 as assistant professor of political science.Veronika Haászis researcher at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation in Venice, Italy. She gained working experiences at National Human Rights Institutions (Hungary, Germany), and in the eu Agency for Fundamental Rights (Austria).
