Karen Kenny, Towards effective training for field human rights tasks, International Human Rights... line the activities of these organisations, bearing in mind that they sometimes have different mandates to fulfil. Together with his own experience in that mission he draws a unique picture of all problems existing for the successful fulfilment of the mandate and not just the problems obvi- ously present for everyone. Furthermore, he throws light from an inside perspective on the implementation of a mandate given by the Security Council of the UN. By so doing he adds some interesting aspects to the problem of how an effective and suc- cessful peacekeeping mission can be or- ganised.
