Sixteen species of plant nematodes are reported, associated with plants in the states of Oaxaca, Nuevo Leon, Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Sonora, Coahuila and Campeche, Mexico. Three species described as new are Tylenchorhynchus mexicanus, Quinisulcius obregonus and Helicotylenchus craigi. In December 1969 soil samples were collected by the senior author at Isla Aguada in the tropics in the State of Campeche, Mexico. In August 1970 additional collecting was done at Oaxaca City, Oax. and environs. In August and September 1971 samples were taken at Monterrey, N.L., across country to the west coast to Los Mochis, Sin. and up the west coast through Guaymas, Son. to Nogales.
