CRICONEMA VISHW ANATHUM N. SP. AND FOUR OTHER HITHERTO DESCRIBED CRICONEMATINAE BY J. C. EDWARD AND SOHAN LAL MISRA Allahabad Agricultural Institute, Allahabad, U.P., India C. vishwanathum 1) n. sp. is described and figured, short notes and relevant figures partaining to four other species of Criconematinae viz. C. tenuicaudatum Siddiqi, 1961, C. palmatum Siddiqi & Southey, 1962, Criconemoides sphaerocephalus Taylor, 1936 and C. parvulus Siddiqi, 1961 are given to include a few additional details, variation in measurements and new habitats. CRICONEMA VISHWANATHUM N. SP. Syn. C. multi.rquamatum Siddiqi, 1961 " (Fig. 1, A-E) Measurements: 5 Females: L = 0.40-0.55 mm; a = 7-14; b = 3-4.8; c = 11-17; V = 91-93; spear = 70-88 g; total body annules = 44-47. 4 Larvae: L = 0.27-0.28 mm; a = 6-12; b = 4-6; c = 12-19; spear = 60-70 total body annules = 41-45. Female (Holotype) : L = 0.44 mm; a = 7; b = 4.3; c = 16; V = 92; spear = 88 p. Body cylindrical and straight, tapering more abruptly anteriorly to a convex conoid head end than posteriorly to a bluntly conical tail end, covered by thick cuticle and consisting of 47 annules
