Printed in The Netherlands List of Contributors David Fraser is Professor of Law and Social Theory at the University of Notting- ham. He has taught at Law Schools in Canada, the United States and Australia. His major research interest is on the role of the legal profession in times of crisis, with particular reference to the Holocaust. He is the author of, among others, “Law After Auschwitz: Towards A Jurisprudence of the Holocaust” and “The Jews of the Channel Islands and the Rule of Law 1940-45”. George Ginsburgs is Distinguished Professor (Emeritus) at the Rutgers University Law School, Camden, New Jersey. His current research interests inter alia are focussed upon the new Russian citizenship law; he also continues to work in the area of the extradition of political offenders in particular and, in general, in other matters of human rights law and international (public and private) law. Sylvia Kierkegaard graduated with a Masters degree in EU Law and International Business from the Århus School of Business, Denmark.
