In the footnotes he added passages from a work consisting of casus derived from the Roman law texts cited in the Ordo. These casus legum, which were intended to help canon law students develop their understanding of Roman law, are anonymous. It is argued that Odofredus wrote them during his stay in Paris between 1229 and 1232.
