At this moment it is hardly possible for colleagues outside Israel to follow what is really going on. We are badly in need of a trustworthy new synthesis. In the meantime 'Discovering Jerusalem' is the best book to date. But while studying it the reader will discover one serious flaw: most of the plans have no explanation of the numbers and letters on them. These are given in the text. The explanation of the numbers on plan 30 (page 50) is given in the text on pp. 67-68. This makes the study of the overall plan on page 32 very difficult. Where on this plan are T3, T5 or T6?
