Notes on Contributors Josep Maria Antentas is a teacher of Sociology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona ( uab ) and a member of the research group Centre d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball ( quit )–Institut d’Estudis del Treball ( iet ). He has published extensively on social movements, globalisation and the crisis. His recent research has been focused on the crisis and new political processes in the Spanish state. [ josepmaria.antentas@uab.cat ] Cinzia Arruzza is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research in New York. She is the author of Plotinus, Ennead II 5. On What Is Potentially and What Actually (Parmenides Press, 2015), Dangerous Liaisons: The Marriages and Divorces of Marxism and Feminism (Merlin Press, 2013) and Les Mésaventures de la théodicée. Plotin, Origène, Grégoire de Nysse (Brepols, 2011). She is currently completing a book on tyranny and the tyrant in Plato’s Republic. [ arruzzac@newschool.edu ] Patrick King is a doctoral student in the History of Consciousness department at uc Santa Cruz. His work spans the fields of political theory, intellectual history, and social-movement theory.
