Notes on Contributors Ian Birchall is a longstanding member of the Socialist Workers’ Party. His most recent book was The Spectre of Babeuf (Macmillan 1997), he is currently working on a book to be called Sartre Against Stalinism Dan Bouseld is a researcher at York University in Toronto. His area of specialisation is East Asian and Marxist political economy.
