Dr. John Buchanan is an associate professor in education at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, where he coordinates international programs in Education. His research interests include global education, development education, intercultural education and teacher quality, attrition, and retention. He has written more than 50 journal articles, books, and book chapters on these topics. His doctoral studies investigated the readiness of Australian students and teachers to engage in studies of Asia. He is a past president of the nsw Institute for Educational Research. Dr. Meera Varadharajan is a Research Associate in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, with interests in teacher education, global citizenship, beginning teachers and teacher quality. She is an atea grant recipient. Azmat Gani is an Associate Professor at Sultan Qaboos University Department of Economics and Finance (Oman). His research and publications focus on international trade policy, economics of governance, environmental economics and policy, economic development of Pacific Island countries and trade and business environment in the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries. Dr. Elham Fallah Manshadi is a researcher at Tehran Urban Planning and Research Center. She has a PhD and Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the
