Gender and Attitudes toward Women in the United Arab Emirates This study aims at examining the effect of gender on attitudes toward women in United Arab Emirates ( uae ). To achieve the objectives of the study, a sample of 1036 men and women were selected and interviewed by students’ research assistants. To achieve the objectives of this study, descriptive and inferential statistics were used including Independent Sample t-Test, bivariate and Ordinary Least Square regressions analyses. General findings indicate a low to relatively low attitudes toward women. As might be expected, males revealed significantly lower levels of attitudes toward women than do females.
