Also available online - www.brill.nl/rci The International Symposium on Design of Advanced Materials Using Nano Space (ISDAM-2006) was held on August 4, 2006, at the Ichoh-Kaikan of Osaka University Suita Campus, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. ISDAM-2006 was organized and sponsored by the Japan Association of Zeolite, co-sponsored by Catalysis Society of Japan (Research Division of Photocatalysis), supported by Kansai Research Foundation for Technology Promotion and endorsed by Catalysis Society of Japan, The Petroleum Institute, The Chemical Society of Japan and Osaka University (Division of Materials and Manufacturing Science, Graduate School of Engineering). ISDAM-2006 was held as the post-symposium of the International Symposium on Zeolites and Microporous Crystals (ZMPC2006) held from July 30– August 2, 2006 in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, with the aim of covering the latest developments in “Nano Space Science”, one of the important research fields in materials science. There has been extensive research and development in “Nano Space Science” worldwide in order to design the functional materials. Especially applications of nanospace of porous materials such as zeolite and mesoporous silica have shown the promising potential to design catalysts, photocatalysts http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Research on Chemical Intermediates Springer Journals
