Les deux espèces ont été trouvées dans les eaux du sud-ouest de l'Atlantique (République Argentine). INTRODUC'1'ION The present paper redescribes Lembos fuegiensis (Dana, 1852) and describes Lembos argentinensis as new. Some details are added to the knowledge of L. fuegiensis, which is more fully figured and described. The present material extends its known geographical range in South America. During benthos dredgings carried out by the R/V Shinkai Maru on the Argentine continental shelf, a new species, Lembos argentinen.sis n. sp., was discovered and is reported upon herein.
