The samples were taken from depths of 500 to over 6000 m in a wide region from the Galapagos Islands to Valparaiso (Chile), in latitudes from 0 to 32°S. Lepadomorpha of the southeast Pacific, especially the abyssal forms, have as yet been very poorly studied.
