Opinion No. 1359 (p. 344) UROPLAT - as the stem of family-group names in Reptilia, Sauria and Insecta, Coleoptera: a ruling to remove the homonymy. 1364 (p. 355) Kassina Girard, 1853 (Amphibia, Anura): conserved. In volume 43, part 1 on 9 April 1986. Opinion No. 1374 (p. 25) Boiga Fitzinger, 1826 (Reptilia, Serpentes): conserved. 1377 (p. 33) Chelydra osceola Stejneger, 1918 given nomenclatural precedence over Chelydra laticarinata Hay, 1916 and Chelydra sculpta Hay, 1916 (Reptilia, Testudines). Revived case: p. 80 De La Cepede, 1788-1789 'Histoire Naturelle des Serpens' and later editions: proposed rejection as a non-binominal work. Z.N.(S.) 1985. News from other Societies The Societat Catalana d'Ictiologia i Herpetologia, the Instituto de Acuicultura Torre de la Sal and the Asociacion Herpetologica Espanola, organize the I Congreso Nacio- nal de Herpetologia, which at the same time will be the II Reunió General de la S.C.LH. The Congress will be held in Benicassim (Castellón de la Plana), Spain on November 1-3, 1986.
