Tissue samples from the Mediterranean gecko, Hemidactylus turcicus, were subjected to allozyme electrophoresis to measure gene frequencies at two polymorphic loci for populations initially introduced to port cities along the Gulf Coast, and which are now distributed across the southern United States.
