GARLAND Tübingen In 1919 Plummer wrote in his commentary on Philippians: There is no reasonable doubt that all four chapters were written as parts of one and the same letter, and in the order in which we have them.' 1 He made this assertion at a time when doubts about the integrity of Philippians had been propounded only infrequently.2 The mind of scholarship on this issue, however, has changed in the course of the years.
