Th e fi nal journal article contains a DOI (Digital Object Identifi er) which for Fast track is included in the run- ning headers. Upon completion of an issue, the typesetter will redo the head- ers and paginate the piece. Referring to a Fast track publication (in another journal article, thesis, book, or on a website) needs to be done by mentioning the DOI. Followed by ‘in press’ or ‘forthcoming’. For the copyright line, the year of publication online will be leading. We are confi dent that these developments will meet the wishes of our authors for Fast track allows reduced publication time and early citation via DOI.
