Who comes to whom? And is "the house of Israel" to be under- stood as subject of the verb, or as explanatory of the object of the preposition in ldhem, or as vocative? Or should the phrase be con- strued syntactically with the following verse (so the LXX)? No, the words of the last colon do not in any way match the intensity or the parallelism of the strong words of the first three cola of the verse. The text is corrupt, and the error(s) evidently arose before any of the ancient versions were produced, because all of them reflect the MT in one way or another 1).
