She is primarily a medievalist with special interest in medieval “crux” cultures and religious expression. She is Director of the Center for Catholic Th ought, Ethics and Culture (SHU). Her articles have been pub- lished in Magistra and the Journal of Medieval Latin . She is working on two books, one on women theologians/spiritual teachers of medieval Christi- anity, and a critical anthology of Carolingian spirituality/theology. Anca Mitroi teaches French Literature and Romanian Civilization at Brigham Young University, where she is an Assistant Professor. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. Her articles have been published in Dalhousie French Studies, Literature and Psycho- analysis, Literature and Belief, Cahiers Franco-Canadiens de l’Ouest, Lingua Romana, Connections , and Point of View , among other journals. Glenn Peers is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Texas at Austin.
