GR. 2821 In my study of the Triclinian recensions of Aeschylus and the problems connected with early Triclinian working-copies (Studies in the Scholia on Aeschyl2ts I, forthcoming) I have discussed the MS Parma, Fondo Parmense 154 which contains the Euripidean triad with a metrical commentary, and Par. gy. 2821 which contains the Aristophanic triad with a similar metrical commentary. I have pointed out that both commentaries must be regarded as the work of the same metrician, whom I take to be Demetrius Triclinius at an early stage of his career as a student of res metricae. Further, I have tried to prove that both MSS were written by the same scribe. My purpose in this note is to draw attention to the fact that the two books once made up a single volume. Of the two MSS the Paris Aristophanes has attracted the greater attention, most of all because it was used by Dfbner for his collec- tion of scholia and because Zacher in his Handschyi ften und Classen der
