334 according to sound principles; that they reproduced practically without any change the original publications; that the general Introduction was valuable, and that the whole Corpus would prove to be a useful help to everybody who was interested in the history of the Jewish diaspora. In my review of volume II (ibid. XV, 1962, p. 82 f.) I promised to give a definitive opinion concerning the whole after the publication of volume III. This is necessary and possible also, because I had ample opportunity to consult the book. What I said previously still holds good. This Corpus is useful and handy, and, as a rule, reliable.
