Canton, Ohio 44720, USA E-mail: mabertman@yahoo.com Th ough Hobbes Studies continues to have various themes in its two yearly issues, I am glad to report that the specially edited Hobbes Studies issues on a particular theme, alternating with a “usual” issue, is coming to fruition. Indeed, I remind Hobbes scholars of the journal’s interest in adding thematic issues. Th ese can be a comparison between Hobbes and another thinker of impor- tance, e.g. Kant. Other possibilities are Hobbes in a location, e.g. Hobbes scholarship in South America or the background of Hobbes in the Renais- sance, or a subject, e.g. Hobbes and theology. I am open to all suggestions: mabertman@yahoo.com I am also pleased to announce another specially edited Hobbes Studies in preparation. It will be edited by Carlo Alteni (Director of San Carlo International PhD School, Modena) on Hobbes in the Weimar Era viz. Strauss, Kelsen, Schmitt, Adorno, etc. responding to the nature of politics, civil law, and legitimization.
