Information is supplied on the juvenile stages of Xiphinema bergeri Luc, 1973, X. filicaudatum Loof & Maas, 1972, X. longicaudatum Luc, 1961, X. parasetariae Luc, 1958, X. spaulli Heyns & Vermeulen, 1982 and X. vitis Heyns, 1974. Measurements including length of odontostyle and replacement odontostyle are tabulated, and illustrations are given of the tail shapes of the four juvenile stages, plus that of the adult female for comparison. Keywords: Nematoda, Xiphinema, juvenile stages For some Xiphinema species data on all four juvenile stages are presented in the original or subsequent descriptions. For other species only one, two or three of the juvenile stages (most often J3 and J4) are known. In addition there is a large number of species for which no information is available on the juveniles.
