A short description and drawings of the Hungarian specimens of the species are provided. RÉSUMÉ L’amphipode Gammarus leopoliensis Ja˙zd˙zewski & Konopacka, 1989, décrit à l’origine de Pologne, aurait été collecté en Hongrie déjà en 1959 et est ici signalé de ce pays pour la première fois.
